Android unwanted cache

Posted: 03 January 2012 by reanxyz in GeekTok

I was wondering why my Galaxy Tab internal memory getting smaller and smaller regardless of the volume of stuff i had removed.

I know the Android like to cache pictures from any video and picture files.

I been deleting the cache from this folder
“F:\DCIM\thumbs ”
manually all these time, relieving some memory.
and recently i found out that Android gallery software Cooliris media is also storing large amount of cache which you can find in this folder
and it has 3.5gb of cache….
which i check in other geek forum.
It seems like it is safe to delete the cooliris cache folder
The cache removal app i am using does not remove cache from this folder.

This problem probably occur in our android phones as well  (if you use your phone to take pictures/videos/browse internet)

Image of the Apple iCal iconI’ve updated the online calendar that I made earlier this year for public holidays in Brunei for 2011 to include the holidays for the upcoming year of 2012. The addresses to subscribe to the calendar are still the same, but I’ll repost them here.

XML version:

iCal version:

The above is how you should enter it in iCal on OS X, for example. iPad/iPhone users can enter the address by going to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account… > Other > Add Subscribed Calendar and pasting the address above into the text field.

Bitcoin is a relatively new digital currency that’s set to replace the way we do trading online. Bitcoin does not have a central authority to issue money, and instead relies “mining” and trade on P2P technology (think BitTorrent) for transactions.
