It’s part of a series of fifteeen 1-minute shorts for an NHK program, each directed by well-known directors or animation companies in Japan. This particular clip was directed by Makoto Shinkai, whose recent work was the movie 5 Centimetres per Second and will have an upcoming movie this summer titled Children Who Chase Lost Voices from Deep Below.

Freshest Loaf

Here’s a small tip– to find out when the freshest loaf of bread was made, look at the colour tags or stickers on the top of the packaging. The image above lets you know what day of the week the loaf was made, and you can deduce that the the loaf with the latest tag would be the freshest.

This is just a general rule, though. Our Bruneian bread-makers may have different coding systems or not have different tags for different days at all. The only product I’ve confirmed so far that does colour-tagging are the Le Apple bread loaves.

i did not know nor notice about mr along punya nick, until my brother asked me if “longwang” is a chinese or not…

My brother saw the nick LongWAng through the playstation 3 Network friend request

Not that  mr longwang look like a chinese.. just that the word “longwang” sound like Dragon King in mandarin. hehe

just never cross my mind.. as i been wondering why he choose his nick as “longwang”.. maybe means “along awang”.. or long as in the length and wang as in… err.. “dude” or “money”

uhh.. .. no offense yah. this is just a discussion. ehe
